Monthly Challenges!

Hi all - this is available in the Members Only "Our Community" area but I thought it would be nice to include it as a public post. That way if you are a prospective member you can see a little slice of what we are up to here at RRAFA.

During our monthly meetings members are invited to share something they created. There is a monthly challenge that members can all participate in (list for 2026 to follow) or they can bring in something unrelated to share. It's always so much fun to see what people have been working on!

Monthly Challenges for 2026

January: Self Portrait, figures

February: Pets, animals, hybrid animals

March: Pictures based on a poem or song

April: Rainbows, clouds, sunsets

May: Black & white still life

June: Water, beaches, waves

July: Pumpkins, Squash, food, fall

August: Unusual subject, abstract, single mark

September: Favorite place or color

October: Winter, mountains

November: Building, political commentary, hero

There is no challenge in December to make time for our holiday party.
