Painting with Friends

Tuesdays just hit "different" when you're surrounded by creativity and good company!

Every week at 10 AM, artists of all levels gather at Spokane Art Supply for Painting with Friends—a casual, welcoming space to paint, share techniques, and connect beyond the studio. What started as a small idea has grown into a vibrant community of makers and dreamers.

Whether you're a seasoned painter or just curious to dip your brush in, you're invited. No membership required—just bring your art spirit and a few bucks ($1–$5) to help cover the space.

Painting with Friends is a weekly event hosted at Spokane Art Supply  Tuesdays @ 10 AM.  Open to all!

Painting with Friends: A Creative Community

About three years ago, when Chuck Harmon was serving as club president, he had a simple but powerful idea: what if artists could connect more often than just once a month? He envisioned a relaxed, welcoming space where members could gather to share techniques, talk about their work, and build deeper relationships—not just as fellow club members, but as artists.

Chuck reached out to Craig at Spokane Art Supply to ask about available space. Craig’s response? “How about Tuesdays at 10?” And just like that, Painting with Friends—or PWF—was born.

It started small, just a few artists trickling in. But Chuck spread the word enthusiastically, and week by week, the group grew. Now, every Tuesday morning, you’ll find 6 to 10 (sometimes more!) artists gathered together—painting, chatting, exchanging ideas, and enjoying the camaraderie of a shared creative space.

Whether you’re a club member or not, you’re warmly invited to join us. PWF is open to all. We simply ask for a small contribution of $1 to $5 each session to help cover the cost of the space.

Come be part of something inspiring—where art and friendship flourish side by side.
