September 2026 Liberty Gallery Show Prospectus

This year's theme for our members only show at the Liberty Gallery is: "Water"

This year's "Water" theme means that water must appear somewhere in each entry. It can be anything from one drop to the ocean and does not have to be the primary focus of your work.

Judged Show:

Prizes: 1st: $200

2nd:  $150

3rd: $100

Honorable Mention x 2: gift certificates

All media, 1 or 2 pieces per artist, no smaller than 12 X 12, no larger than 18 X 24. Table art that can fit under 14 X 14 glass or heavy floor pieces that can’t be carried off. $15 for one piece, $20 for two (2).

Art can’t have been in RRAFA show before. No art from a class or workshop.

Original art only, prints accepted for Digital Art.

Members must be in good standing to participate. This means that their annual dues have been paid and they must have attended at least two meetings prior to the show.

MANDATORY: All flat art must have a wire for hanging placed approximately one-third down from the top of the frame. NO other hanging method accepted. Art must be labeled with title, medium, artist name, phone, and email securely placed on the lower right corner of the art. WALL TAGS will be made by the show organizers.

MEET THE ARTIST reception will be the First Friday of the month. If you are in the show you should be at the reception sometime between five and eight pm. Submit entrance paper and fee by check/cash to Nancy Huck, 2338 W. Courtland Ave. Spokane 99205 by August 15th. Checks should be made out to RRAFA. You can turn your paperwork into Nancy at the July Members Meeting also.
