Barrister Winery Show
August 7, 2026

This August, RRAFA will be showing their work at the Barrister Winery. This is an amazing opportunity for our members! Lots of work sells there so we encourage you to save your best work for the show.
Some Basics:
There's no theme for this show and artwork of any size is acceptable. The show is limited to 2-D artwork. If you have 3-D work you want to show, please contact Chuck Harmon to see if there is a space for your work.
All members of RRAFA in good standing are encouraged to submit 3-4 pieces. Work should be family appropriate and needs to be ready to hang. See our Hanging Guidelines for more detailed information. There is space for 90 pieces at this venue.
Each artis is responsible for their own sales. The winery will not process the transaction for you. You are encouraged to use the RRAFA tags to label your work. Please include the following: name, your name, dimensions, medium, and price.
If you submit work to this show, you are asked to attend the First Friday event at the Barrister Winery from 5 - 8 PM. You do not need to be there for the full evening. Music starts at 7 PM so feel free to cherry pick your arrival time!
Some updated notes on this show:
Your art must be wired, ready to be hung. Frames optional. Janene and her assistants will be hanging your art on the 5th of August. Please make sure you deliver your art between 10:30 & noon.  Provide your name, title of the piece, size, and phone number or email address, and of course the price, on a piece of paper on the back of the painting. We'll use that information to make the tags. Â
If you sell a piece, we'd like you to get agreement from the buyer to leave it up with a red sold dot on it until pickup day, August 31st, noon to 2.
You must sign a "hold harmless agreement". That means the winery is not responsible for any damage to your art. Chuck will have HHA's available to sign this Saturday at the annual picnic. Anyone who doesn't sign one then can sign one at the monthly meeting (June 24th), or at the time they bring their art to be hung on the 5th of August. Chuck had these at the RRAFA BBQ and will have them at our next member monthly meeting this June. Please reach out to him if you still need a copy.
Barrister charges no commission. If you sell art, 10% of the purchase price is to be paid to RRAFA. When you make a sale, please notify Barrister, so that they can place a sold dot on your art card.
