Katie Garner

After earning my BFA from Washington State University in 1996, I spent several years blending creativity with technology by designing and maintaining websites for the UW Evans School of Public Affairs.

My artistic journey has taken me from color pencils, to watercolors, then oils. I loved all of these choices but I'm in love with acrylics. The versatility of the medium—its varying viscosities and vibrant pigments—provide limitless creative opportunities.

My Art

For me, painting is all about light, color, and texture. I love creating art that is fun and beautiful as well as thought-provoking. I hope you enjoy my work and thank you for sharing this journey with me.
