I have always loved to draw. Finally when I hit high school I completed my first painting. After graduating I got my first real job. My first paycheck was spent on art supplies. Never had so much fun buying what I needed.
I never had any formal training after getting married and my son was born I put my art aside to enjoy raising him.
I grew up in Seattle and lived there for 40 odd years. Finally we moved to Spokane and discovered the beauty here. It took a couple of years before I really got back into painting again. Since then it has been a nonstop love affair. I paint as much from my imagination as I do from real life. I painted in oils with the wet on wet method for a long time.
I am now trying to learn to how to use acrylics. I paint landscapes and mountain scenes.
