Elaine Gerard

Elaine was born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana. She moved to Spokane, Washington, in 2004 and worked as a medical transcriptionist. After retiring, she took up painting in 2018 and hasn’t stopped since.
My Art
Elaine is a native American working primarily with acrylic paints on stretched canvas. Her artwork reflects a love for nature and features wildlife, scenery and portraits of her people, the Blackfeet tribe of Montana.

Elaine is a member of YES Is A Feeling studio/gallery, which is a cooperative of four artists, located at the Steamplant Building in downtown Spokane. She has shown her work at the Carl Maxey Center, Avenue West, Indaba, Terrain 12, 13 and 14, Fellow Coworking, Chrysalis Art Gallery and YES in the past years. Elaine has been a member of River Ridge Association of Fine Arts for a few years now. Elaine currently lives in Spokane with her fiance Kevin and his daughter Marina, who are both talented artists
